Finnegan is a beautiful, big, grey stallion with an athletic, scopey jump and fabulous movement. He is very brave while also being careful over the fence. He has a kind lovable character and is very easy to handle.

Finnegan has jumped internationally in many 1.50 – 1.60m classes and we believe he has all the ingredients to become a top grand prix horse. He is blessed with the scope, stride, power and bravery to jump any of the biggest classes in the world. He was placed at 3* and 4* level in 2022 with Neal Fearon.

It is no wonder when you study Finnegan’s breeding that he has so much scope and natural technique. Finnegan has 1.60m jumping in his genes from all directions.

Finnegan’s sire, Eurocommerce Singapore, jumped 1.60m himself, while is grand dam on his mother’s side, Elysee 11, bred two 1.60m horses. Finnegan’s grandsire, Cassini 1, jumped 1.60m himself and bred 160 horses that jumped 1.60m. Finnegan’s great grandsire, Joost, jumped 1.50m himself and bred 14 horses that jumped 1.60m.

Signapore is the sire of Ermindo W, the top horse of Swedish team rider Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, which was his mount for the European Championships in 2021, and also competed in many 5* Nations Cups and Grand Prix’s. Although Singapore died at 9 years old, his short breeding career was very successful, he bred 4 horses jumping 1.60m, further 4 horses jumping 1.50m – 1.55m and many horses jumping 1.45m, along with breeding several eventers (up to CCI 4*) and dressage horses.

Singapore’s sire, Acorado 1, jumped 1.50m and bred 49 horses that jumped 1.60m, while his exceptional grand dam, Doreen X111, bred a 1.60m horse and 3 horses that jumped 1.50m. Singapore’s grandsire, Cantus, jumped 1.60m and bred 48 horses that jumped 1.50m – 1.60m.

Finnegan’s great grandsires include famous names, such as Cor de la Bryere, Ahorn Z, Caletto 1, Caletto 11, Corrado 1 and Capitano, all of which were the sire of many 1.60m horses.
