Derryglen Stud is featured in the 2026 edition of The Irish Field Sport Horse Stallions, highlighting the development of our farm in Dunboyne as a centre for elite sport horses and breeding.

Based in the Ain region of France, the dealer expressed his delight in investing in this eight-year-old Selle Français stallion (by Cocktail de Talma out of a Kashmir van Schuttershof mare).

Derryglen Obsidian, the amazing 10 year old mare, by our worldclass sire Kafka vd Heffinck, was the only horse to jump 2 clear rounds in the elite GCL competition.

Derryglen Othello, the 10 year old son of Kafka vd Heffinck, gave a magnificent display of agility, scope and control around the tight course, designed by Jorge Guilherme (BRA), in the Helsinki Ice Hall, to secure a notable place in the second leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup at the Helsinki International Horse Show.

In a thrilling display of skill and scope, Deirdre Reilly and her amazing 14 year old stallion, Kafka vd Heffinck, emerged as joint winners of the Six Bar show jumping event at the Helsinki International 5* Horse Show.

Derryglen Othello jumped an impressive clear against the clock for a top-10 place in the 1.45m ranking class at Gijón International Horse Show.

Neal Fearon and the incredible stallion, Cocktail de Talma, delivered an outstanding performance at the prestigious Spruce Meadows event, securing an impressive fourth place in the highly coveted ATCO Queen Elizabeth II Cup, which is one of the most prestigious 5-star show jumping competitions in the world.
