Deirdre Reilly and Derryglen Othello Placed in Helsinki 5* World Cup Qualifier

Derryglen Othello, the 10 year old son of Kafka vd Heffinck, gave a magnificent display of agility, scope and control around the tight course, designed by Jorge Guilherme (BRA), in the Helsinki Ice Hall, to secure a notable place in the second leg of the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup at the Helsinki International Horse Show. 39 of the top horse and rider combinations from around the world came to the Finnish capital, all vying for a spot in the coveted World Cup Finals held in Basel, Switzerland, in April 2025. The event was won by Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Vermento, while the French champion Kevin Staut (FRA) and Dialou Blue PS took second place, and Olympic Vice-Champion and current world number two Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Is-Minka came in third.
