We are very excited to welcome top young show jumping stallion, Cocktail de Talma, to Derryglen Stud.
Cocktail is by the very famous stallion, Baloubet du Rouet, and out of one of the best damlines in the world. Bred at Haras de Talma with Michael Guiot, his dam Reggae de Talma, by Cento, is ranked the best broodmare in the world, according to Hippomundo, based on the number of Black Type offspring (performing on 1.45m and +) less than 15 years old.
Cocktail has performed successfully at the top level of show jumping under Belgian rider, Gregory Wathelet. In 2021, he won two consecutive CSI2* at St Tropez, before finishing sixth and ninth at the CSI5* Grands Prix in Stockholm and Valkensvaard. This year, he finished ninth in the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix of Equita Leon and eight in the CSI3* Grand Prix of Brussels.
